The ESEE Knives ESEE-5 was designed by military SERE instructors as a hard-use downed pilot’s survival knife that is strong enough that it really cannot be broken even when used for typical knife-no-no's like prying and hammering. The combination of a relatively short 5.25" blade length, saber grind, 0.25" steel thickness, and full-tang construction combine to make the ESEE-5 virtually unbreakable by human hands.
