Replace your cheapo valve caps with the Alligator Ventilfabrik Round Top Valve Cap. This short, metal valve cap is the same valve cap that you see standard on BMW, Mercedes, and other German vehicles.

Construction is of nickel-plated brass with domed tip and internal gasket. The nickel-plated brass resists corrosion, the domed tip can be used to deflate the tire, and the internal rubber gasket protects your valve cores against deterioration from the weather. This valve cap is airtight and and will maintain your tire pressure even if the seal on your valve core fails.
