ARB 8,000 KG Snatch Strap (ARB705LB)

he ARB 8,000 KG Snatch Strap is constructed of nylon with a 20% elasticity. The 8,000 KG Heavy Duty Snatch Strap is 2" wide and 30' long, and reinforced with cordura on the end loops to prevent chafing from prolonged heavy use. Two movable sleeves on the main section prevent chafing of the nylon material under various rigging configurations. The 8,000 KG Heavy Duty Snatch Strap will withstand 17,500 pounds of load before breaking. Vehicle recovery booklet included.

The 8,000 KG Heavy Duty Snatch Strap is identical to the ARB 11,000 KG Snatch Strap, but is 2" wide to suit recoveries of the most common offroad vehicles like the various Land Rovers and other vehicles of similar size. Bigger is not better on snatch straps because the heavy straps used with light vehicles will not stretch. You want stretch to hold energy to help with the recovery. Stretch is also easier on the recovery points being used because greater stretch means less shock load on the recovery points.
