ARB Digital Tire Inflator/Deflator (ARB601)

The ARB Digital Tire Inflator is not gimmicky technology for its own sake, but rather real technology that makes tools better and easier to use. The Digital Tire Inflator clips onto tire valve stems, inflates and deflates, and does not scratch your vehicle just like all of the best inflators. However, the Digital Tire Inflator is easier to use than other inflators for two main reasons:

• The backlit LCD screen gives a very legible readout of the tire pressure in bad lighting conditions (even those who need readers will be able to read the display in poor light);
• Tire pressures may be gauged by whatever system you are most familiar with (e.g., 0-200 psi / 0-14 Bar / 0-1400 Kpa), and the accuracy is +/- 1 psi within 25-75 psi range.

The air chuck clips onto your tire valve stems and the stainless-braided hose is 23.5" long, so there is no need to remain crouched or kneeling while inflating or deflating. The Digital Tire Inflator is powered by two AAA batteries (included) and the runtime is about 200 hours of use. There is an integrated battery life indicator in the display, so you will never be caught with dead batteries. Industrial Interchange plug included, and of course the plug may be removed and replaced with any fitting using standard 1/4" NPT thread if you desire.

Approximately 90% of trail fixes will involve tires. And nearly all fourwheeling involves deflating and inflating tires. So having an onboard air system on your 4x4 is mandatory. Acquire the tools and skills to perform tire repairs and you will be well on the way to becoming a compleat offroader.
