The Colby Valve Ultimate Valves Kit contains two very low-profile tire valves that protrude from the wheel only about the height of two valve caps. The Ultimate Valves are very unlikely to get damaged on the trail because they are so tucked away. Like the Colby Emergency Valves, the Ultimate Valves install from the outside of the wheel so converting from your standard tire valves to Ultimate Valves is very simple. Installation is very easy with a 7/16" socket or wrench. Fits standard 0.453" valve holes used on tubeless automobile wheels.
There are TWO Ultimate Valves in each kit, so order two kits to convert your four tires and three kits to cover your spare wheel(s).
In the unlikely event you ever break an Ultimate Valve, you can replace it easily in the field with another Ultimate Valve or a Colby Emergency Valve. Both install easily from the outside of the wheel. The primary differences are the Ultimate Valves are shorter in length while the Emergency Valve installs without tools.
