The Expeditionware Disco2 DOT Rear Brake Hose Kit is a four-layer design, with a plastic coil covering the clear plastic layer against abrasion. In turn, the clear plastic layer covers the braided stainless steel against abrasion and the elements. The braided stainless steel protects the Teflon inner core and reinforces it against high pressures. End fittings are tightly crimped in place and covered with a polymer reinforcing sleeve. The Expeditionware Disco2 DOT Rear Brake Hoses meet all DOT standards and are street legal. These hoses are a direct replacement for the factory rear brake hoses on the Disco2. All threads on the fittings match those of the factory Land Rover factory brake hoses, and new fasteners, mounting brackets, and copper crush washers are included with the kit. No adapter or other vehicle butchery is required for a proper installation. The DOT Rear Brake Hose measures 17.5 " long from tip to tip. Sold in kit form, with two brake hoses and hardware to do the rear axle on the Disco2.
