The GSI Outdoors 50 oz. Blue Javapress brings the ease and familiarity of your home french press to your field kitchen. This 50 oz. Javapress is the family size and will make enough coffee for several coffee lovers. The transparent carafe is lightweight, shatter-resistant, and BPA-free. The blue ballistic cloth insulator protects against burns and heat loss, and even the lid is insulated to hold in heat while brewing. 14.6 oz. weight. Dimensions are 6" x 5" x 10".

The plunger is ringed with silicone to eliminate blow-by and "dirty" coffee. However, micro grounds of coffee will get through any french press. This is not necessarily a bad thing, and many people with taste actually prefer their camp coffee to be rustic or cowboy-style with some grounds in it.
