GSI Outdoors RAKAU Spatula (46120)

The GSI Outdoors RAKAU Spatula is a "hard" style of cooking spatula that is made entirely of beechwood, so it is safe for use with nonstick cookware, seasoned ironware, and enamelware. The beech is beautiful to behold and a delight to use because wood is a natural insulator that will never feel cold or hot to your hands. The RAKAU Spatula is 12" long and the blade is 2.5" wide. The square blade with square corners also make the RAKAU Spatula an excellent scraper for cleaning your dirty pots with hot water in the field.

Because it has no holes or slots in the blade, the RAKAU Spatula is very easy to clean in the field. Simply wash with soap and water and let dry. The RAKAU Spatula comes with an oil finish from GSI. You can continue to use the spatula in its factory state or oil it further with a food-safe oil like Opinel Maintenance Oil to protect the wood against water intrusion, warping, and food stains.
