Hi-Lift Jack Winch-Clamp-Spreader Attachment (WCSA-101)

For many years, the Hi-Lift Jack Winch-Clamp-Spreader Attachment (WCSA) was available only through the purchase of the Hi-Lift X-Treme Jack, which is a great jack but has a trashy name and an ugly color. Now the WCSA is available as a standalone item and can be fitted to your Hi-Lift All-Cast Jack (or any other Hi-Lift Jack made by Bloomfield Manufacturing Co.).

The WCSA replaces the top-clamp clevis that comes with the All-Cast Jack and increases the All-Cast Jack's strength, durability, and utility. Alternatively, the WCSA may also be fitted to the bottom of the All-Cast Jack in place of the foot piece for working in confined spaces where the foot piece will not fit or angled surfaces where the foot piece will tend to slip. Depending on where the WCSA is mounted to the Hi-Lift Jack's standard, it can be used for winching, clamping, or spreading to 5,000 lbs.

The WCSA has a unique design. There are two 7/8" holes for mounting 3/4" Bow Shackles. The thermometer-shaped slotted hole in the side accepts a 3/8" chain for hand-winching with the Hi-Lift Jack. There is a peak-shaped cutout at the bottom for gripping the edge of a door during spreading operations such as by firefighters to pry open a wrecked vehicle with passengers inside. The WCSA's carriage bolt and wing nut enable the WCSA to be mounted anywhere on the Hi-Lift's standard. All parts are yellow zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

The wing nut lets the user attach, detach, and move the WCSA along the Hi-Lift's standard without tools, but the wing nut also lets thieves steal the WCSA. If you want to secure your WCSA to your Hi-Lift, the 1/2" x 13 carriage bolt and wing nut share the same thread size with the Hi-Lift Jack Versatile Locking Knob. Adding a Versatile Locking Knob will marry your WCSA to your jack and a key will be required to separate the two.

Up to now, the WCSA had to be detached from the Hi-Lift's standard to fit or fit a handle isolator. The new Hi-Lift Jack Quick Fist Handle-Keeper solves that problem and may be fit and unfit without disturbing the WCSA because the Quick Fist Handle-Keeper slides onto the Hi-Lift Jack's handle, but then clips to the Hi-Lift Jack's standard and then wraps around it using Quick Fist technology and materials. Because the Quick Fist Handle-Keeper does not slide over the jack standard, whatever is attached to the standard can remain in place.
