Land Rover Genuine Parts Ball Joint, LH Thread (RTC5870)

The Land Rover Genuine Parts RTC5870 Ball Joint features a reversed, LEFT-HAND thread and comes standard on your vehicle's tie rod. Physically check which type of thread you require to be sure you order the correct ball joint for your particular application. Replacement mounting hardware and locking pin are included.

Ensure your steering ball joints are in good repair. A failed ball joint could be disastrous, as steering is lost. We also recommend carrying spare ball joints on the trail, because a vehicle without steering is worse than a vehicle that won't start (a vehicle that won't start can still be towed but a vehicle without steering can't even be towed). Install your ball joints with antiseize compound to prevent the threads from corroding solid and preventing you from adjusting your steering or replacing broken parts in the field.
