MAXTRAX MKII Olive Drab (MTX02OD)

MAXTRAX is unique in the vehicle recovery market, because MAXTRAX is lightweight, quick, and easy to operate by just one person if necessary, and there is no need for a second vehicle or even an anchor point. There are also no stressed components on the vehicle such as recovery points. MAXTRAX works in sand, mud, slush, and snow. Using MAXTRAX is also considerably safer than using other vehicle recovery gear, as everything is done at a gentle pace and without yanking, pulling, pushing, or lifting loads.

Two orange MAXTRAX Telltale Leashes are included with each pair of MAXTRAX. The Telltale Leashes make it easier to find and extract MAXTRAX that have become buried during the recovery.

MAXTRAX made the Olive Drab color for a United States Marine Corps contract, and it looks great. MAXTRAX boards are also available in the following colors:

• Black
• Desert Tan
• Safety Orange 

If you want two pairs of MAXTRAX but cannot decide between Desert Tan and Olive Drab, try getting one pair of each color and then stack them while alternating colors. This arrangement looks sort of like camo but doesn't feel douchebag like most camo bought by consumers.

MAXTRAX boards nest together very tightly, and four boards nested together are nearly the same size as two boards. While there are many ways to transport the MAXTRAX, the two most common are:

Both of these mounting systems let you mount your MAXTRAX boards on the outside of your vehicle, which provides easy access when required and keeps the mud and dust outside of your vehicle after use in a recovery. If you do not have any suitable mounting locations on outside of your vehicle, or if you want to transport your MAXTRAX inside your vehicle for stealth or to prevent theft, take a look at the MAXTRAX Mini Pair and MAXTRAX Mini + JaxBase Combo, which are just like the full-sized MAXTRAX boards but reduced in length to 25" long.

Four or even two MAXTRAX boards are usually plenty to recover a stuck vehicle. But in some soft, sloped, or very slippery conditions, you might want to connect or peg your MAXTRAX boards using the MAXTRAX Fixing & Linking Kit.
