MSA 4X4 Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin (RWRS)

No matter how good your logistics or what steps you go through to minimize trash production, you will generate trash on trips. The MSA 4x4 Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin is basically a soft trash can that mounts to your vehicle's spare tire. During your trip, all of your trash, messes, and smells are kept outside of your vehicle and contained in a single place where they can be disposed of easily at the next stop.

The Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin's clean design prevents flapping and buffeting behind the vehicle. Most spare wheel trash cans have gimmicky adjustment loops, top flaps, side pockets, and so on. All of those things buffet about in the vacuum behind your vehicle and yet add no real utility to the trash can's function as a trash can. The MSA has no such gimmicks.

The Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin is built tough to withstand years of heavy offroad use in foul weather conditions. Construction is of extremely heavy-duty 1680 Denier nylon that is backed with PVC, and all edges are double-layered to prevent fraying after heavy use. The base is double layered and fitted with a large stainless steel drainage eyelet to release any spilled liquids or water accumulated during wading. The heavy-duty 50mm mounting straps go all the way around the body rather than attaching only to the rear face. The large YKK zipper is the self-healing type. The PVC backing facilitates cleaning after you get back home.

The Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin mounts and dismounts easily two large, Fastex-style buckles. The mounting straps are long and will fit any spare tire size. Vehicle overloaders will inevitably piggyback the Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin on top of MAXTRAX MkII Recovery Boards mounted to the spare wheel using the MAXTRAX Rear Wheel Harness, and the Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin's mounting straps are long enough to that use as well should you want to do it. If you want to lock the Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin to your vehicle to prevent theft, there is an additional nylon strap on the back face with stainless steel eyelets that can be wrapped around your spare wheel carrier and secured with a padlock.

 
The MSA 4x4 Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin dates to 2003 and is the original spare wheel trash container. Even better, the Rear Wheel Rubbish Bin isn't tactical-looking like its copycats. It just looks like a tidy trash container rather than some tactical trashcan with MOLLE so that it can be configured to the mission. Its colors are a handsome gray and black rather than the usual tactical bro colors.

Dimensions when loaded are 24" x 16" x 8".
