Obenauf's Leather Oil contains a blend of natural oils, beeswax, and propolis that will soften, condition, restore, waterproof, preserve, protect, and beautify smooth leather products, yet the leather is always free to breathe.  Propolis (tree resins used by honeybees to weatherproof and disinfect their hives) resists mildew, mold, and bacteria that will attack leather and break it down.  The Obenauf's formula is so effective that the Leather Research Laboratory of the University of Cincinnati has rated Obenauf's #1 over all others for the most complete and best leather protection available.

Applying Leather Oil is very simple and easy.  First clean your leather products if they are dirty.  Shake the Leather Oil and then apply with it to your leather with a cloth.  Leather Oil will release into the leather fibers as long-term lubrication.  Body heat and continued flexing of the leather cause the oils to be distribute faster and they will travel into the areas of the leather that need them most.  If you like, buff with a cloth or soft brush and your leather will become beautiful and very natural looking (no artificial gloss).

Also available from Obenauf's is the famous Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP, which is the same formulation but in solid form that is rubbed into the leather with your fingertips.
