The Snow Peak BLACK Home & Camp Burner is an extremely compact burner that unfolds for both dining table and campsite use. Its clever and fun design comes from Asia, where shabu-shabu, hot pots, stews, and Korean Barbeque are commonly cooked at the dining table and then served family style in small portions at at time so that every bite is piping hot throughout the entire meal. But unlike traditional Asian tabletop burners, the Home & Camp folds into a very small and stylish form that is very easy to store.
When configured for storage or transport, the Home & Camp takes the shape of a stylish cylinder that is only 10" x 5" x 4" in size. The Home & Camp then unfolds very easily to form a stable tabletop burner with auto igniter, adjustable flame control, and 10" diameter trivet that will support family-sized stew pots and large skillets.

Fuel for the Home & Camp is the traditional Asian butane cylinder. These butane canisters are sold at all Asian markets for about a dollar per 220-gram canister. Compare that to the $6 or $7 for the 230-gram isobutane canisters such as the Kovea 230-Grain Iso-Butane & Propane Gas Canister, PRIMUS 230G Power Gas, and Snow Peak Gigapower Fuel 250. The Home & Camp is not a Lindal Valve burner and not readily capable of adaptation to different fuels using the various Kovea fuel adapters. Instead, the butane canister is encapsulated by the Home & Camp's body to shield the butane from heat and also to make the tabletop burner much more beautiful to diners.
