The Snow Peak Classic Kettle 1.8 may be one of Snow Peak's most beautiful products and has many little details that make it a pleasure to use both in the field and at home. The double handle is very comfortable to use even when the Kettle is filled to capacity with boiling water. The spout cover folds closed to speed boiling and keep the contents hot. The spout cover locks in the open position and locks down the lid to facilitate pouring with the Kettle in one hand and a mug in the other. A hanging loop lets the user hang the Classic Kettle over an open fire during field use. Construction is all stainless steel to facilitate cleaning. 1.8L (60 oz.) capacity. 690g.
To facilitate handling of the Classic Kettle over open flames, Snow Peak has available its Fire Side Gloves. The Fire Side Gloves are constructed of leather and have gauntlets that extend well beyond the wrist to protect you from heat, sparks, and embers of burning wood and charcoal. The gloves have a beautiful brown color that will darken and only get better with age. The dark navy fabric liners are secured with Velcro and are removable for washing.
