Snow Peak Floga Takibi Fireplace Wall (ST-032FW)

The Snow Peak Floga Takibi Fireplace Wall is sort of like the Solo Stove of the Snow Peak Universe. Floga represents Snow Peak's attempt to create a cleaner and more complete combustion of campfire wood in the Snow Peak Takibi Fire & Grill Pack & Carry Fireplace Kit.

Floga consists of four, double-wall chambers that sit on top of a burning Takibi. When Floga gets hot from being exposed to the burning wood, a chimney effect is created within the double-wall chambers. Floga's four chambers suck in fresh air through the horizontal slots at the outside/bottom, vent that air through the round holes at the inside/top, and direct that air onto the burning wood. With oxygen constantly being blown onto the fire, the fire is hotter and more intense, combustion is more complete and cleaner, and less smoke and smoky odors are the result. Fireside chats become more enjoyable and there is less shifting around of chairs as the winds change direction.

Floga is constructed of stainless steel for easier cleaning and corrosion resistance. Like most good camp cookware, Floga will discolor, weather, patina, and look better the more you use it.

Floga disassembles into two separate clamshells that fit into the included transport bag. Weight is 10.6 lbs. and the size is 19" x 19" x 7". Because of the double-wall nature of Floga's design, it will always remain three-dimensional and will not fold completely flat like the Takibi.

The included black nylon transport bag works perfectly well, but a very elegant way to transport Floga is within the Snow Peak Fireplace Wall Floga L Carry Case, which is a heavy cotton canvas case with carry handle, mesh accessory pocket, and removable partition.

To facilitate handling of Floga and campfire wood, Snow Peak has available its Fire Side Gloves. The Fire Side Gloves are constructed of leather and have gauntlets that extend well beyond the wrist to protect you from the heat, sparks, and embers of burning wood and charcoal. The gloves have a beautiful brown color that will darken and only get better with age. The dark navy fabric liners are secured with Velcro and are removable for washing.

In addition to the Fire Side Gloves, SnowPeak has available specialty tools for handling very hot fires. The Snow Peak Fire Tool Set Pro consists of a shovel, poker, tongs, and heavy-duty canvas case. The tools make tending your fires much easier and the case keeps the tools handy.
