Snow Peak Gear Tote M (BG-016)

For reasons unknown, the Snow Peak Gear Tote M is advertised in the USA as the "Jikaro Carrying Case". And it does work to transport the Snow Peak Jikaro Table. However, the Gear Tote M is more properly understood as a soft carry case for the Snow Peak Iron Grill Table pieces and when you consider its design and features, you will likely agree. This soft case is basically a giant purse for the Iron Grill Table pieces, and it may be the best way to organize and transport them that we have seen up to now. The Gear Tote M replaces the older Snow Peak Tote Bag Jumbo.

The measurements are ideal for the Iron Grill Table pieces with almost no wasted space. The Gear Tote M measures 35" x 20" x 5 while a Three-Unit IGT frame measures 34" x 20" x 1" and the Snow Peak IGT Multi Function Table Bamboo measures 34" x 20" x 1/2". There are two pockets inside the Gear Tote M that are tailor-made for the Snow Peak IGT Wood Table S Bamboo and IGT Wood Table W Bamboo. On the outside of the case is a large zippered compartment that runs the entire length of the bag. This large pocket is designed to hold the Snow Peak IGT Standing 830 Legs and IGT Sitting 660 Legs. On the ends of the bag are vertical pockets that will accommodate the IGT Low 400 Legs and IGT Ground 300 Legs, as the IGT Height Adjuster. Clearly, the Gear Tote M was designed for the Iron Grill Tables pieces rather than the Jikaro Table.

The Gear Tote M is 5" wide, so it will accommodate multiple bamboo side tables and Snow Peak Red Folding Chairs in addition to most IGT set-ups. The top and ends feature a total of six Fastex-type buckles with cinch straps, so the Gear Tote M can tighten around less than full loads to prevent the contents from rattling and shifting about during transport. The two shoulder straps have a Velcro keeper to the keep the straps tidy and prevent digging into the hand or shoulder. At the bottom of the Tote is an additional grab handle. Snow Peak designed the Gear Tote M to be carried liked a large purse over the shoulder, and with the hand grasping the grab handle at the bottom for additional support and to take weight off the shoulder. Construction is of heavy-duty black nylon and all edges and seams are double-layered to prevent them from fraying, unraveling, or pulling apart.
