The Snow Peak IGT Slide Top Half (aka Snow Peak Bamboo Side Table, Small) adds working or dining tabletop space to your Iron Grill Table System by sliding into the sides of the frame. Extruded mounting hooks are integral with the bamboo platform and slide into the corresponding channels on the Snow Peak Iron Grill Table Frame or Snow Peak Entry IGT. The platform is constructed of Snow Peak's signature bamboo laminate that is branded and coated in a semigloss finish. In addition to being environmentally friendly, bamboo is considerably stronger than traditional table woods like maple (bamboo is technically grass rather than wood, but most people think of wood when they see bamboo). Bamboo is also warm to the touch and very beautiful. Each Slide Top Half measures 16.8" x 8.6", so each Slide Top Half will span exactly "half" of the width of a three-unit Iron Grill Table frame. Conversely, each three-unit Iron Grill Table frame will accept up to four of the Slide Top Halves at once.
The "TR" suffix of this table denotes the new color of Snow Peak bamboo, which is noticeably darker than the old bamboo color. The old bamboo was very yellow or blonde in color while the new color is a brownish tan that resembles the color of oak. When you see a part number end in "T", that denotes the blonde color and "TR" denotes the oak color.
The Slide Top Half will enlarge your Iron Grill Table or Entry IGT from front to back. To enlarge your Iron Grill Table or Entry IGT from side to side, look at the Snow Peak IGT Multi Function Table Bamboo, which has the same length and width as the three-unit Iron Grill Table or Entry IGT and clips onto the side of the IGT frame or Entry IGT to create as much tabletop space as you could ever really want in a field kitchen.
