The Snow Peak Stacking Mug Seppou H450 is the largest of the three mugs that comprise the Snow Peak Titanium Stacking Mug Set Seppou H. While most people purchase the entire set to avoid possible backorders, the Seppou H450 is also available separately for those who want only one or two stacking mugs rather than the entire set of three.
The Seppou H450 measures 87mm D x 97mm H and will contain the smaller Snow Peak Stacking Mug Seppou H300, which in turn will contain the smaller Snow Peak Stacking Mug Seppou H200.
The Seppou H450 is identical in dimensions to the Snow Peak Titanium Double Wall Cup 450 and the only difference is the omission or presence of folding handles. Therefore, the Seppou H200 and H300 stacking mugs will stack just as tightly within the Titanium Double Wall Cup 450 as they do the Seppou H450. In such a trio, the inner stacking mugs will not have handles to minimize wasted space but the outermost mug will have folding handles. This is John's favorite combination of Snow Peak stacking mugs.
The Seppou H450 is ultra-lightweight at 97g because of its titanium material and provides superior heat and cold insulation due to its double-wall construction. Hot liquids stay hotter and cold drinks stay colder in this insulated mug. Handles are not required because the double-wall construction insulates heat and hold. Holding a mug of piping hot coffee or breakfast ramen in a bare hand presents no issue at all. Furthermore, titanium has low thermal conductivity (so that the heat from hot drinks will never reach the lip of the cup), no metallic smell or taste (unlike aluminum or stainless steel), will not corrode or stain when left wet or exposed to acidic liquids or foods (unlike aluminum and stainless steel), and is very strong and will not break or melt (unlike plastic). Titanium is also easily serviced in the field, as a simple rinse with water and a wipe-down with a cloth are all that is necessary. Best of all, titanium is nonallergenic. Nobody is allergic to titanium, not even the boomers who claimed to be allergic to polyester or today's zoomers who get nervous in the presence of a Snickers bar.
