The Snow Peak Wapper Buki Titanium Fork & Spoon Set replaces the older Snow Peak Wapper Buki Titanium Full Cutlery Set, which was identical but also had a ferocious knife and different nylon carry case colors. In this set, the knife is gone and only the fork and spoon remain.
The fork and spoon are made of titanium. Titanium is substantially lighter than stainless steel. More important than weight is titanium's suitability for utensil construction. Titanium has no metallic smell or taste (unlike aluminum or stainless steel), will not corrode or stain when left wet or exposed to acidic foods (unlike aluminum and stainless steel), and is very strong and will not melt or break (unlike plastic). Titanium is also easily serviced in the field, as a simple rinse with water and a wipe-down with a cloth are all that is necessary.
A nylon carry case is included to keep your utensils together during storage and transport. Available colors for the carry case are gray, green, and purple, but are subject to availability at the time of your order.
