SOL Rescue Flash FLOATING Signal Mirror (0140-1004)

The SOL Rescue Flash FLOATING Signal Mirror is a signaling device that will enable you to target and signal planes, helicopters, and distant rescue teams over 10 miles away, yet it measures only 2" x 3" and weighs only 0.7 oz. The durable polycarbonate construction is nearly unbreakable and will survive the roughest handling in your emergency kit and field use. The removable protective strip ensures that the mirror will remain scratch-free until you need it in an emergency. An aperture in the middle of the mirror enables aiming of the reflection, and a hole in the corner lets you mount a lanyard or tether if desired. Instructions written on the back enable even first-time users to employ the Rescue Flash Floating Signal Mirror.

This product supersedes the older and now-discontinued SOL Rescue Flash Signal Mirror, which was very slightly thinner and 0.1 oz. lighter and would not float on water. All other specifications remain unchanged.

An alternative to the Rescue Flash Floating Signal Mirror is the ESEE Knives RAT Signal Mirror. Which is superior? Frankly, they're nearly identical products. Both mirrors measure 2" x 3" and float.
