Old Man Emu Rear Shock Mount Fit Kit (FK64)

The Old Man Emu Rear Shock Mount Fit Kit replaces the rear upper shock mounts on your Discovery Series I, Range Rover Classic, or Defender and enables the fitment of the Old Man Emu 60147 Rear NitroCharger Sport Shock (which mounts stud-to-stud) instead of the standard Old Man Emu 60039 Rear NitroCharger Sport Shock (which mounts eyelet-to-stud).

The 60147 shocks are a special-application item that ARB designed at the request by 4x4 guru Bill Burke.  The 60147 shocks have the same length and valving as the Old Man Emu 60039 Rear NitroCharger Sport Shocks, but the 60147 mounts are stud-to-stud just like the Old Man Emu 60037 Front NitroCharger Sport Shocks.  Thus, a vehicle fitted with 60147 rear shocks and 60037 front shocks have all four shocks mounted to the vehicle in the same way (stud-to-stud) and take a common field replacement in case of shock breakage in the wild.  In other words, a single spare shock (one of your old front shocks is ideal) may be fitted to all four corners of the vehicle, and vehicle spares are greatly reduced and simplified because there is no longer a need to carry two different styles of spare shocks in your field spares.
