Over-Sand Fully Adjustable Automatic Tire Deflators

The Over-Sand Fully Adjustable Automatic Tire Deflators are a lot like the proven and excellent Staun Tyre Deflators, but with two major differences:

• There is a micrometer-style scale laser etched onto the side of the deflator body to make adjusting the deflators very easy and intuitive; the Stauns adjusted by trial and error.
• Unlike the Stauns, the Over-Sands are red-anodized aluminum.

Each deflator comes factory preset to 20 PSI and can be used right out of the box. You can further refine your target PSI using the laser etched scale on each deflator. You can set your target pressure anywhere from 6 to 30 PSI.

Like most of the tire deflators currently on the market, the Over-Sand Deflators:

• start deflating automatically when you thread them onto your tires' valve stems
• stop deflating automatically when your tires reach the preset target pressure you have set
• may be adjusted to different target pressures an infinite number of times without wear or damage
• come in a pack of four to deflate all four tires simultaneously or you can have a "high pair" for gravel and "low pair" for sand or rock-crawling
• store and transport inside the included Altoids tin to prevent loss

However, the Over-Sand Deflators are distinctly superior to most other deflators in two ways:

• Other deflators adjust by trial and error of inflating and deflating and adjusting the deflators, whereas the Over-Sand Deflators have graduated markings that let you adjust them on the fly. Just turn the adjustment knob until your desired pressure lines up with the micrometer scale.
• The Over-Sand Deflators have a very broad 6-30 PSI target pressure range, so the need for specialty "light" or "heavy" models is really eliminated for most fourwheeling and you can handle everything from Pismo Beach to the Mojave Road with one set of deflators.

An alternative to the Over-Sand Deflators is the J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators PRO Deflators, which also adjust by a scale rather than trial and error.
