The ARB Universal Twin Motor BRUSHLESS Onboard 12V Air Compressor Kit is a bundle of these commonly paired ARB onboard air elements:

The bundle is not for cost savings (there is none), but rather for convenience.  Some people just do not like to piece together different aspects of an onboard air system or they find it confusing.  This bundle consisting of air compressor, air hose, and inflator is pretty much all that one needs to air up and air down because the Digital Tire Inflator can be used to deflate your tires as well as inflate them.  The only "hard" part of this bundle is mounting and wiring the air compressor, and everything else is super easy.

This bundle is expensive.  If you are on a budget or you just don't want to pay this much for an onboard air system, ARB offers a similar bundle with a brushed Twin Air Compressor called the ARB Universal Twin Motor Onboard 12V Air Compressor Kit that delivers truly excellent service at hundreds of dollars less.  (John still uses the brushed Twin Air Compressor in his Defender and has not upgraded to the new brushless, because his old air compressor is an old friend that has always performed admirably.)

To expand your onboard air system beyond the compressor-hose-inflator bundle, look at a dedicated way to deflate your tires.  While the Digital Tire Inflator has a side button to allow deflation, that procedure is more suited for getting the exact amount of air pressure in your tires rather than deflating them before hitting the trail.  For airing down your tires, far faster, easier, and better ways include:
