ARB Air Locker Manifold Kit (171503)

The ARB Air Locker Manifold Kit enables easy remote mounting of two ARB Air Locker solenoids and a standard 1/4" NPT thread that accepts the ARB Air Compressor Pump Up Kit.  The Air Locker Manifold Kit has a working pressure limit of 150 psi, so it will integrate perfectly with your ARB Air Compressors and most other onboard air sources as well. Mounting brackets and hardware are included.

There are currently four different ARB 12V Onboard Air Compressors:

• ARB Brushless Single Motor Onboard 12V Air Compressor (CKBLA12)
• ARB Brushless Twin Motor OnBoard 12V Air Compressor (CKBLTA12)
• ARB Single Motor Onboard 12V Air Compressor (CKMA12)
• ARB Twin Motor Onboard 12V Air Compressor (CKMTA12)

The Air Locker Manifold Kit will work with all four air compressors, but in different ways.  The single-motor air compressors like the CKBLA12 and CKMA12 already have multiple air outputs, so the Air Locker Manifold Kit will be useful for them only when your vehicle's particulars require mounting the air compressor in a confined space that makes attaching the Air Locker solenoids and Air Compressor Pump Up Kit difficult or impossible.

In contrast, the twin-motor air compressors like the CKBLTA12 and CKMTA12 have only a single air output and will require the Air Locker Manifold Kit if you want to use those twin compressors for the ARB Air Lockers or want multiple air outputs.

The Air Locker Manifold Kit will marginally increase your onboard air system's air-storage capacity, so your air compressor will cycle a little less frequently when running ARB Air Lockers.  If you really want to increase your onboard air system's storage capacity, fit the ARB 4-Liter Aluminum Air Tank between your air compressor and the Air Locker Manifold Kit.  The very high output of the twin-motor air compressors together with the the Air Tank will make your vehicle's onboard air system capable of running air tools.

Approximately 90% of your trail fixes will involve tires.  And nearly all fourwheeling involves deflating and inflating tires.  So having an onboard air system on your 4x4 is mandatory.  Acquire the tools and skills to perform tire repairs and you will be well on the way to becoming a compleat offroader.
